Buying a Home?

Buying a home is one of the most significant decisions you'll make — and having the right guidance through the process makes a real difference.

It starts with understanding what you're looking for — not just bedrooms and bathrooms, but what your day-to-day life looks like in a new home, what matters most to your family, and what you're willing to compromise on. Getting clear on those things early saves a lot of time and frustration down the road.

What the Process Actually Looks Like

Getting prepared — Before falling in love with a home, it helps to know exactly what you're working with financially. Getting pre-approved gives you a clear budget and puts you in a much stronger position when you're ready to make an offer.

Finding the right home — The search tools on my site pull current listings updated daily across the Lakes Area and Metro Detroit. When something catches your eye I can pull the comparable sales, check how long it's been on the market, and give you the context you need to make an informed decision. I'll also make sure you're asking the right questions before moving forward — the ones that are easy to overlook when you're excited about a home.

Making an offer — When you find the right home I'll walk you through what a competitive but smart offer looks like based on real data. Negotiating is something I genuinely excel at — knowing how to structure an offer that protects your interests without unnecessary risk.

From contract to closing — Once an offer is accepted there's still a lot that happens before you get the keys. I'll guide you through inspections, negotiations, and all the paperwork so nothing falls through the cracks. I can also connect you with a mortgage professional and other trusted resources along the way.

After closing — I won't disappear after the keys are handed over. If questions come up about your new home or neighborhood, I'll still be available.

Curious about what’s happening in your neighborhood? You can create a custom market report to see what’s active, under contract, and sold in your area.

Feel free to reach out by phone, text, email or clicking on this contact form — I'm happy to talk through your situation with no pressure and no obligation.
